HAPPY DAYS

Today I am writing this post for all college once who are about to complete their studies. While going through this post you will think I am philosopher but today what I am writing I am on the same stage. I watched the movie HAPPY DAYS today a movie in telegu based on an engineering college.

These are few learning's from this movie:-

We in college days make many friends and also have different thinking upon different things. We ever find people in life who try to tell the truth to us but in one way or other we neglect them. What in ours opinion may be correct but when time will go by then we will realize what was said to us. We should help our friend even he had done something which hurts you because we don't the situation behind his mistake.

We also don't respect our teachers, but they are the one who act as a glow of light when we are in darkness.
We should really want to apologize every teacher for the mistakes we had made whether intentionally or non-intentionally. Teachers are there to help us in deciding our destiny, they are the gift of god to guide the way which reaches to our goal.

We should respect every person whom we met in life as we do not know who will help us in getting things right when we are on wrong track. We should have a passion do something even to love someone and should convey that feeling is the most important part, even you fail you will never say that "if i would have done this may be somewhere else".

We are provided with all facilities think about a student who runs 20km daily to complete his schooling. He doesn't have money to spend upon but want to something miracle in his life as "Pandu" in the movie. He when arrived to college he did not know single word in English but he cracks the interview like a master in English.

Lastly its the happy days for all college students enjoys them to the most, learn new creative things and respect every person, because we don't want us to have the following question in life:-
1. What did I learn?
2. What did I achieve?
3. I'm in just as much confusion as when I joined college?

Few heart touching lines.....
Every batch have some people who come to college unable to leave BUT they leave eventually and I feel, we should share these moment with you, these are the most happy days of your life but also the beginning of most purposeful days.

THE GREAT SAYING

We all have listen about share market and investment. Today I studied about the father of investment who is known as Oracle of Omaha.  He is an American Investor, businessman and philanthropist. I am talking about Mr. Warren Buffet who is a self made man. He is the second richest man in the United States even after donating $62 billion.
Here are some sayings or learning from life of Mr. Warren Buffet:-
Never ask a barber if you need a haircut

In looking for some one to hire, you look for three qualities : Integrity, intelligence and energy. But the most important is integrity because if they don’t have that, the other two qualities are going to kill you

He said investments in tobacco are fraught with questions that relate to societal attitudes and those of the present administration. I would not like to have a significant percentage of my net worth invested in tobacco businesses. The economy of the business may be fine, but that doesn't mean it has a bright future.

It is easier to stay out of trouble than it is to get out of trouble

You should invest your money in a business that even a fool can run, because someday a fool will!

A LEADER SHOULD KNOW HOW TO MANAGE FAILURE

We all have studied in the management classes that a leader is one who lead others to follow him/her and many definition have given by many Management Guru's. I was reading a interview at the midnight of India's Former President Mr. APJ Abdul kalam. He in this interview has given one of the best example of leader.
He in this interview was asked could you give an example, from your experience, of how leaders should manage failure. He shared his work experience of year 1973 when he was a Project Director of India's satellite launch vehicle program. The goal assign to his team was to put Rohini satellite into orbit by 1980.
He told by Aug 1979 we thought that we were ready and I decided to control center for the launch. 4 min before launch, the computer began to checklist the items. 1 min later, computer put the program on hold; display showed that some components were not in order I had 4-5 experts with me-told me not to worry and launch through manual mode. I did the same, in first stage everything worked fine. In second stage, a problem developed. Instead of satellite going into orbit, the whole rocket system plunged into Way of Bengal. It was a big failure.
That day, the Chairman of ISRO Prof. Satish Dhawan called a press conference for the launch at Sriharikota(A.P.). Prof Dhawan, the leader of organisation, took the responsibility for the failure. He also assured media in another year the team would definitely succeed. As a Project director that was my failure-but he took the responsibility.
In July 1980, we tried the launch again and we succeeded. The whole nation was Jubilant. Again, there was a press conference Prof. Dhawan called me aside and told me, "You conduct the press conference today".
Reading of interview i have learned the best management lesson, I have learned something that did not come to me reading a book that WHEN FAILURE OCCURS THE LEADER OWNED THAT FAILURE,. WHEN SUCCESS CAME, HE GAVE IT TO HIS TEAM.
